Most of what we do is client work. A few things we build for ourselves first, run in anger, and then offer to other people once they have earned it.

A product only gets a page here once it is live and we are using it daily. That is a slower list than it could be, and it is the right way round.

Why we build our own

Running our own software on our own business is the cheapest way to find out whether it is any good. Every awkward step and missing field turns up in our week before it turns up in yours.

It also means the people who answer your questions about it wrote it. There is no support tier between you and the engineer.

Custom instead

If none of this fits, the other half of the studio builds software to order.

Web applications, internal tools, customer portals and APIs, for businesses that have outgrown off-the-shelf products. You own the source code and the documentation on final payment.
